Bye Bye Foggy Mirror

Something you should know about me, I don't like to clean, I mean I DO clean, but I don't enjoy it. I'm a big fan of tips and tricks, short cuts, anything that makes my life a domestic goddess (yeah I rolled my eyes too) easier! So with that in mind today my tip/trick for you is how to make sure the bathroom mirror doesn't fog up when you take a shower. I do not like  a foggy mirror, it's just one of those things that bugs me.  When I get out of the shower I want to be able to see myself so I can brush my teeth or put my make up on. Yes I  realize that there are a few people *cough, cough Steph I'm talking about you* that like a fogged up mirror, its ok, maybe you'll change your mind after this awesome post. This is crazy easy all you need is:

Shaving cream ( they say not gel...but I use my husbands shaving gel LOL)
a dry rag

Oh yeah thats all!!!

So this is what I'm talking about, ( yeah I know you know), drives me nuts!

Spray (squirt?) the shaving cream or gel onto your mirror, no need to pre clean, your mirror will be nice and shiny after this.

Take your dry rag and rub the shaving cream in until you don't see it any more.

Like this

That's it!! I know right!! CRAZY easy!!! The next time you take a shower you won't have to worry about the mirror fogging up.  How often should you do this? I'm so glad you asked, you'll want to do this about once a month.

Isn't that so great! Seriously! Go ahead, go clean your mirrors with shaving cream/gel, you know you're dying to try it!!!

Here's to a fog free day ;)

Quick Check in :)

Phew I have been slacking! Almost a week without a post *gasp*!!! What a fun and busy weekend!! A brand new store opened in my area, that I got to put some of my creations in, so awesome!! Yep I  totally just pinched myself and did a mental "woohoo"!  If you live in the Northwest Florida area go check out Simply Pink Boutique, its really unique in our area. (oh yeah that was a shameless plug ;) ) Then Sunday I got to celebrate the wonderful dads in my life, not only my own Rockstar dad, but my fabulous Husband and my Father-in-Law, not to mention my bothers and brother in laws, and countless friends I am so blessed! We didn't do anything magazine cover worthy, we simply hung out ate, and enjoyed each others company! I hope you all had the opportunity to celebrate the Dads in your lives.

Make sure you look out for tomorrow's post!

Spotlight Wednesday!!

I love Brandon Heaths' song Give me your eyes, if you have never heard it,  here it is, take a minute (or 3) and listen to it! Every time I hear it I think YES I want to do more, I want to really see people, not just pass them by, I want to help where and when I can! So every wednesday I'm going to "spotlight" a group, or charity that I really love! This weeks Spotlight is......drumroll please.....

CONVOY OF HOPE

Convoy of Hope is an amazing faith-based non profit that was founded in 1994. They are all about feeding the hungry,  in the states and all over the world! Convoy of Hope has fed over 55million people since it was founded.  They feed the hungry through many different ways like their children's feeding initiative, community outreaches, disaster response, and partner resourcing. I first heard about Convoy of Hope because of their disaster relief work. I was amazed at how quickly they responded to natural disasters, getting much needed food and water to places hit hard after Katrina! They had trucks ready to go before the storm ever made landfall. Since then they've been at the top of my charity love list! Who's at the top of your Charity love list?

Check out their website and Blog to learn more about this great group!

Summer Time!!

Ahhh It's officially summer in our house!! Kids are out of school!!! WOOOHOOO! Sleeping in....staying in our pj's all day......pizza for breakfast..... Ok maybe not, more like my lovies got up at 6:30am ready for a "fun" day! Seriously I had to drag them out of bed every week day since the middle of August, but on the first day of summer break they bust into my room at the crack of dawn!!! So I let them watch cartoons for a bit while I cleared the "startled awake" fuzz from my brain, laid in bed and enjoyed the fact that we didn't have to go anywhere! We have BIG plans this summer, things like swimming until we grow fins, creating master pieces out of sidewalk chalk,  VBS,  de-cluttering our (bursting at the seams with every toy we've ever gotten) rooms, planting some fruit trees! Fun fun times! My son says "going to the beach yeah yeah", I'm sure we'll have to go a couple of times over the next couple of months, after all we live minutes from the most beautiful beaches in the world! However I try not to go too often during the summer season, because giant throngs of people stress me out, especially when you add my 3 little ones and the gulf of mexico! No matter what we do, I plan on enjoying time with the littles, they're growing up on me way too fast!!! What are your grand plans for the summer? I'd love to hear about it!

Hi ALL!

Hi all! Welcome to my little blog :) I'm the owner and creator/crafter/seamstress of Angelina's Boutique and Crafts. I love all things crafty! I'm loud, I talk WAY too much, I say things like "rock on" and "can I get a what what" because I'm a huge dork! I love my family more than anything, I love doing for others and making them smile.  Kids of all ages melt my heart, I would love to travel the world helping people.  Here I'm going to be sharing all kinds of things, like tutorials, favorite recipes, new things in the shop, crazy family stuff, whatever pops into my head.  I'm not a writer, or a photographer, so I'll make grammatical errors and post pictures I've taken with my phone *gasp*, but it'll be me in all my imperfections! Hopefully you'll have fun, laugh a little, learn a little and be inspired to bust out your hot glue, or can of paint and go to town!!
